MASINLOC, Zambales — Operatives of the local police arrested a live-in couple in a drug buy-bust sting Wednesday evening in Barangay Inhobol here.
In his report to Zambales provincial police director Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Masinloc acting chief of police Captain Alfred Garcia identified the suspects as Dennis Orbeta Jr. y Marfega, 25, and his live-in partner Arlene Dorig y Perlas, aka Balabal, 40, both residents of Purok 2, Barangay Inhobol.
The report said that at about 8:10 pm on August 19, police operatives led by Lt. Raul Corpus conducted the buy–bust operation and arrested the suspects in the act of selling shabu worth P500.
Police recovered from the suspects, aside from the marked money, another 46.590 grams of shabu with estimated street value of P326,130.
The suspects face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165.
