Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair opens at SM Megamall

BALANGA City, Bataan: The Department of Trade and Industry provincial office here announced Thursday the holding of the 26th Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair on October 16 – 20, 2024 at the Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall.

Teresita Esteibar-Magtanong, DTI – Bataan information officer, said this year’s trade fair will showcase different products from about 140 micro, small and medium enterprises from Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales. 

It has for the theme “Tatak Pinoy! Innovative and Sustainable Products” that will bring together some of the finest products, artisans and entrepreneurs from Central Luzon. 

From Bataan, 20 exhibitors, 10 food and 10 non-food, will join the much-awaited  event. 

The exhibitors will feature a wide variety of high – quality products ranging from processed food, furniture and home furnishings, wearables (fashion accessories, Filipiniana, bags, jewelry), to gifts and holiday decors, beverages, woodcrafts and organic and cosmetic products.

Magtanong said that many of the participants have been supported and mentored by DTI – 3 and its provincial offices.

The Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair was organized by DTI – 3 and Philexport – R3 with the full support from the Regional Development Council and the Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation, Inc.

“It serves as a vital platform for CL’s MSMEs to promote their products to institutional buyers and exporters from Metro Manila and other areas that also give opportunities for the enterprises to grow,” Magtanong explained. 

She said this year’s trade fair will have a special showcase that will highlight newly –  developed and creatively – designed products, packaging and labeling created under the Shared Service Facility and One Town One Product Next Gen Program of DTI. (30)
