With an aim to evaluate the disaster response capability of the Local Government Unit of San Fernando, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office organized an earthquake and fire drill on July 30 which was participated in by the City Hall employees.
During the drill, the employees executed earthquake protocols such as the duck, cover and hold; evacuation and assembly in designated open area; and, reporting through the incident command system.
The simulation exercise was held in line with the City Government’s celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month.
