CASTILLEJOS, Zambales – A deed of donation for a 2,000-square meter lot to PhilHealth Region 3 was signed on April 3 by Mayor Jeffrey D. Khonghun with Henry V. Almanon, the agency’s acting vice president. 

Khonghun said the donated lot which will be the site of PhilHealth Express Office will serve a long way in the provision of PhilHealth coverages and service to his constituents. 

Services to be rendered by the office include membership registration, updating of records, issuance of PhilHealth ID and membership data record, answering queries, and providing other assistance. In addition, a PhilHealth warehouse will also be constructed for this purpose.

A site visitation followed the signing with Almanon, acting branch manager Dr. Rowena Zabat-San Mateo; Ruby M. Vitug, chief of management services division; Leny D. Fajardo, head of local health insurance office-Olongapo City; Ralph B. Bermido; Jackie Lyn S. Gonzales, head of general services unit; and executive assistant Francis Christian Z. Estrella.

With the full implementation of Universal Health Care, new and expanded PhilHealth benefits this 2024 will be availed of by all constituents of Castillejos, ensuring financial risk protection for their health needs.
