ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has ordered the inspection of all electrical connections of the Angeles City Hall, auxiliary offices, public markets, and rural health offices.
In Memorandum Order No. 922, Series of 2024 issued on April 23, Lazatin tasked the city engineering office headed by Helen Ayro to conduct the thorough electrical inspection.
The mayor said the inspection of electrical connections will mitigate possible risk of electrical failure or fire due to extreme heat.
Among the offices which the team from CEO will inspect are all offices at the City Hall Compound, the San Nicolas Public Market, Pampanga Public Market, City College of Angeles, and the six rural health units. A ban on the use of liquefied petroleum gas in the city hall offices has also been ordered.
“Ito po ay ginagawa natin bilang ating proactive measure. Inuuna po natin ang kaligtasan ng ating mga empleyado na katuwang natin sa pagbibigay serbisyo sa mga Angeleño,” Lazatin said.
