Lazatin lauds AC midwife who helped deliver baby in tricycle

TRICYCLE DELIVERY. A midwife from the Angeles City Health Office helped a mother named Arendayen Lorey to deliver her baby girl inside a tricycle on April 8, 2020. 


ANGELES CITY –Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. lauded the dedicated service of a midwife from the City Health Office (CHO) here who helped deliver today, April 8, 2020, a baby girl inside a tricycle.
Lazatin identified the midwife as Schechem Bognot who was assigned at the Barangay Ninoy Aquino Sub-Health Center.
The baby girl, according to Bognot, weighs 2.7 kilos and is the sixth child of Arendayen Lorey from Purok Metro Manila, Jaoville, Barangay Ninoy Aquino.
Lazatin said this is a testament that public service has no limits, regardless of time and place.
He also commended the other employees of CHO for their dedication to their sworn duties. The employees of CHO and Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC), also known as Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA), are in the forefront of the city’s fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
For his part, Lazatin earmarked P37 million for City Government’s hazard pay and P10 million for special risk allowance.
