TARLAC CITY – The Provincial Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (PLECC) was activated on Thursday last week by the Tarlac Police Provincial Office (PPO).
This will serve as a venue for the coordination of all law enforcement activities of various law enforcement agencies, said Provincial Police Director and PLECC chair Sr. Supt. Jesus Atchico Rebua.
“This is to ensure a unified direction and integration of effort throughout the country in the suppression of criminal activities on a day-to-day basis particularly at the operation level,” Rebua said.
He pointed out that the committee will serve as a platform for coordination and dialogue among government agencies engaged in the enforcement of general special laws.
“We will coordinate policies and procedures in order to facilitate cooperation and integration of efforts among member-agencies and ensure unity in suppressing criminal activities,” Rebua said.
He also said priority areas for joint law enforcement activities will be identified by the committee.
