CABANATUAN CITY – Inoculations against the coronavirus disease are temporarily halted for first dose recipients here owing to the lack of vaccine supply from the national government.
In a notice published in its official social media page Tuesday, the city government advised residents that vaccination will continue as soon as supplies arrived.
The LGU, however, clarified that jabbing of the second dose to priority groups A1 (Workers in Frontline Health Services), A2 (All Senior Citizens) and A3 (Persons with Comorbidities) are still ongoing.
“Muli pong magsasagawa ng first dose sa sandaling mayroong dumating na supply ng bakuna,” it added.
Prior to this development, the LGU headed by Mayor Myca Elizabeth Vergara stepped up its jabbing by bringing vaccination activities for priority groups to villages.
Hosts to banks, malls, schools and business establishments, this city is dubbed trade and education center of Nueva Ecija, and some parts of eastern and northern Luzon provinces.
