SAN MARCELINO, Zambales – The No. 1 Most Wanted Person in the Oplan Lambat-Sibat list La Union was arrested here Sunday afternoon by joint operatives of the Zambales and La Union.
Senior Inspector Geoffrey Javier, chief of San Marcelino Police Station, identified the suspect as Romeo Dela Peña, 42, aka Wawaw, resident of Barangay San Agustin, Castillejos, Zambales. The Suspect is also listed Number 6 Most Wanted Person on Lambat Sibat in this municipality.
De la Pena was arrested at his hideout in Barangay Antipolo, San Antonio, Zambales by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jennifer A. Pilar, presiding judge of RTC Branch 32 of Agoo, La Union for the crime of murder with no bail recommended.
Sr. Inspector Javier said the suspect will be turnrd over to Agoo Police Station after documentation.
