ANGELES CITY — An outlet that shortens the distance of harvests from the local farms and fisheries to the consumers opened in Barangay Sto. Domingo here on Monday.
Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita is a project by the Department of Agriculture that aims to help farmers and fisherfolk by selling their agricultural products to communities at affordable prices.
The simple ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting together with Greater Clark Visitors Bureau president Joy Cruz, Kadiwa Outlet community manager Jomar David, and Department of Agriculture agribusiness and marketing assistance division head Carmencita Nogoy.
According to Cabigting, projects such as Kadiwa give inspiration to small businesses as the pandemic challenges the livelihood of many.
“We would like to encourage everyone na i–support ta ya pu ing Kadiwa kasi pu maragul ing asaup tamu kareng mangalating businesses. Banta despite the situation, magpatuloy ing kabyayan da,” Cabigting said.
“Kailangan kareng aliwang areas atin mu naman banta mas malapit ya kareng memalen. Ing kasantingan na, ing initiative da. We are just here to support. If there’s a need for legislation or any other support we could give we will do so,” Cabigting added.
Nogoy assures that the prices at all Kadiwa outlets are lower than the market price adding that they also plan to put more outlets here in order to help more farmers and fisherfolk as well as the communities.

Dening titinda keni derechu da na keng end–user or consumer ban kanita mabawasan itang layer of trader kaya mas mababa ya ing presyu kesa keng market,” Nogoy said.
Located along Sto. Rosario Street (adjacent to Carmelite Monastery), Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. for seafood products and up to 8 p.m. for instore products.
