CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga
– The Jesus V. Del Rosario (JVR) Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the TriMotors Technology Corporation and K-Servico Trade, Inc., donated on Monday five units of Bajaj RE three-wheel motorcycles to the provincial government in support of the mobility needs of the province.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with Provincial Administrator Atty. Charlie Chua, personally received the said donation during the turnover ceremony held at the Capitol grounds here.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa JVR Foundation para sa tulong na kanilang ibinigay sa probinsiya. Napakalaking bagay po nito, lalo na para sa ating mga frontliner. Right now, mayroon tayong dalawang magkahiwalay na isolation facilities sa NCC, kaya magagamit natin itong mga tri-wheeler na ‘to sa paglilipat sa ating mga pasyente from building to building,” said Governor Delta.

Gina Bulanhagui, executive director of JVR Foundation, said that they are impressed by the continuous and excessive efforts of the provincial government in containing the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“They are very aggressive, they are very active in fighting and combating this COVID-19 pandemic, and this is only one of our ways to express our support to them,” she said.

To date, Bulanhagui said that their foundation has already rolled out around fifty units of Bajaj RE three-wheel motorcycles, which costs more or less P168,000.00 each, to various local government units (LGUs) and government agencies in the country.

Meanwhile, Atty. Chua also expressed his thanks to the foundation and all other private organizations for continuously assisting the provincial government, especially during these pressing times.

He also commended the hardwork of all the frontliners.

“Salamat sa serbisyo, patuloy lang tayong lumaban para ma-contain natin ang virus at ma-flatten na natin ang curve,” he said. —Jasmine Jaso/Pampanga PIO
