FORMER actress-turned-talent manager and producer Anna Bautista is eyeing John Lloyd Cruz to play Filipino painter Juan Luna in a biopic.

Anna also produces movies and teleseryes because of her affiliation with Viva Entertainment.

The lady producer plans to push through with the project this year.

She personally chose John Lloyd to play this ambitious project.

“We’re still working on the script kasi historical, e,”

“Hindi kami puwedeng magkamali.

“This is something na may appeal sa international market. I just don’t wanna concentrate sa Filipino market kasi mas global na dapat ang isipin mo.”

However, since October 6,2017 John Lloyd took an indefinite leave with ABS-CBN, his mother studio, due to personal matters.

WHILE many are listing down their new set of resolutions, actress Iza Calzado is proposing a “revolution” for 2018 and its all about self-love and body positivity.

On January 1, Iza posted a snapshot of herself in a two-piece bikini during her end-of-the-year beach getaway in Phuket, Thailand.

But unlike the usual OOTD shots that involve a lot of art direction and flattering poses, Iza’s post featured a candid shot of her sitting on a beach blanket.

But that appeared to be the point.

The Kapamilya star wrote in her caption, “Imperfections. I have so many of them. Stretch marks, cellulites, loose skin, folds, love handles, scars, and so many things I can be insecure about.”

Iza revealed her struggles with bodyimage issues.

“I’ve been on the road to self-love for such a long time. It seems like I’ve been battling this my whole life.

“It hasn’t helped that I’ve been in the public eye for 15 years and have always felt dishonest with my seemingly perfect images that make it to print.”

But for this year, the 35-year-old actress is determined to change.

“In 2018, I will be more open and authentic about my journey as I’ve started to embrace myself more thanks to following body positive accounts and being inspired by them…

“Plus a supportive group of people around me, especially my fiancé, Ben… and because of the wisdom and maturity that comes with age.”

Iza then spoke about her “hope for a REVOLUTION on the way we see ourselves and other people.”

For her, the first step in starting this “Body Love Revolution” would be treating others and yourself with the key ingredients of love, respect, kindness, and compassion.

She then claimed 2018 to be an “inspiring and transformative year!!!”
