“WE ARE not really a fan of Japanese cuisine but when we tried Jiro, we easily fell in love with it and keep coming back for more.” So much so that Omar So got a franchise for Jiro.
On February 28, Jiro owner Mildred Roque and franchisees Omar and Krisette So together with Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, former City of San Fernando Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, former AC councilor Maricel “Marang” Morales-Agoncillo, Orchard managing director Clarita Lazatin-Magat and family officially opened the branch at Orchard Community Place in Telasbastagan, City of San Fernando.
A favorite casual dining spot for authentic Japanese cuisine, Jiro is known for its soothing sukiyaki dish – served in nabemono or hot pot style with beef, vegetables, mushroom, tofu and noodles simmered in sweet sauce. There are too the highly addictive volcano sushi rolls and steaming bowls of rich and savory ramen.
“Jiro promises value-for-money, good quality and best tasting food in its diverse menu of Japanese classics, rice dishes, and snacks,” avers Mildred, who said she is dedicated to bring Jiro closer to home. Hence, she keeps expanding and opening more branches.
Discerning diners are in for an exalted experience worthy of a high standard establishment at Jiro. The awesome minimalist interior, delectable dishes and personalized service, all these raise the bar of what a Japanese restaurant should be like.
“With 50-person sitting capacity plus al fresco dining, I think we have a good and strategic location here at Orchard Telabastagan. There is increasing foot traffic and diners especially during weekends,” So said.
Open daily, 12 noon – 10 p.m., Jiro is located at Orchard Community Place, Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando. For reservations visit Facebook page Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen Orchard, or call/text 0947-8905476.
