Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK) completed the move of their operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday 16 April 2023.
Jetstar Asia’s first flight, 3K761 arrived in Manila Airport’s Terminal 3 from Singapore at 9:50am on 16 April while Jetstar Japan’s first flight, GK41 arrived from Narita at 12:15am.
Jetstar Asia currently operates 14 weekly flights from Singapore to Manila while Jetstar Japan operates daily services from Tokyo and Nagoya to Manila.
Jetstar Asia’s CEO, Mr. Barathan Pasupathi said the Singapore-based low-cost carrier was excited to commence operations at the newest and largest terminal in Manila Airport.
“Jetstar Asia first started flying to Manila in 2005 and 18 years later it remains a critical port for the Jetstar Group and a popular destination for our customers,” Mr. Barathan said.
“As we continue to ramp up our operations, the move to Terminal 3 supports our plans for future growth while ensuring our customers have access to state-of-the-art check-in counters, automated bag drops and the latest security screening ensuring a seamless travel experience.
“This move also means our customers continue to enjoy our fantastic low fares and incredible customer experience as demand for international travel continues to increase.

Manila International Airport Authority’s (MIAA) General Manager Mr Cesar Chiong was pleased with the support by the Jetstar Group on the move.
“We thank the Jetstar group for supporting the MIAA in an endeavour that intends to optimize terminal utilization benefitting in the end the very passengers that we both serve.
“We are happy that our airline partners are receptive to our call to improve the way we do things in NAIA.
“With the support that we are getting, we are excited to roll out our plans that will transform the passenger experience at NAIA”.
All Jetstar passengers booked to travel to Manila from 16 April have been contacted directly to inform them of the terminal change.
