“Totoo po ‘yan pero lahat sila mga kaibigan ko lang. Alam naman ninyong kagagaling ko lang sa isang relasyong naging failure kahit ito na sana ang gusto kong maging permanente sa buhay ko,” serysong sabi pa ni Echo. Ang kanyang tinutukoy siyempre ay si Heart Evangelista na sa aminin man o hindi ni Echo ay siya na niyang greatest love sa kanyang buhay.
“Honestly, all of them are my friends, period. At this point in time, love life is not a priority for me. There’s more I still need to do. I believe I’m doing well on my own. It will take time before I jump into another relationship again. I hope that the next girl who will enter my life will be more patient and understanding of me,” muling sabi pa ni Echo na hanggang ngayon ay tilahindi pa naka-move on sa pagkawala sa buhay niya ni Heart.

“Just knowing that we delivered a quality film for the viewers is already a source of pride for me. I’m happy with my accomplishment in “Baler.” My viewpoint when it comes to doing films has changed. It’s not enough that the project will please the fancy of the viewers. I’m more particular now with quality.
“It is my way of giving back to my audience who catapulted me to where I am now. All these times, they’ve been supportive of all my endeavors in this field. So I feel responsible to give them worthy projects that showcase my development as an actor. That way, they will be more proud of me.”
