Now on her fourth month of pregnancy, the former beauty queen said they have yet to know the baby’s gender.
“Next week pa kasi ang ultrasound but ayoko kasing pangunahan. Kasi before, namali yung sa kanya, e, sabi boy ‘tapos girl. Kaya gusto ko munang hintayin until sure talaga,” Shamcey said, referring to their firstborn Nyke, who’s now two years and four months old. But if she’ll have her way, Shamcey hopes to have a boy this time around.
Did they plan the two-year age gap between their kids?
“Hindi naman sobra,” Shamcey said.
“Yung sa kanya [Nyke] planado, yung ngayon, ano lang naman parang, I said, ‘Puwede na, parang it’s the right time na.’ Pero hindi talaga plinano to get pregnant as soon…”
The couple were on vacation in Quebec, Canada, on Valentine’s Day this year when they found out about the pregnancy.
How is this pregnancy different from the first?

This time is the opposite, “As in! I was comparing yung photos ko during my fourth month nung time ni Nyke at ngayon, ang layo ng laki ng tiyan ko.
“As in sabi ko kay Lloyd, ‘Parang six months na itong tiyan ko na ‘to sa pregnancy ko sa kanya, ah?’
“Parang ngayon, parang ahead ako.”
Asked if she might be carrying twins, she replied laughing, “Hindi naman. Tsinek, isa lang, isa lang siya.” Shamcey said that her daughter Nyke is already aware that she’s about to become a big sister and calls the baby in her mom’s tummy “Baby Peanut.”
The couple opened their newest resto called “Scott Burger” in Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, last May 16.

Shamcey recalled, “We met on my birthday, May 16, 2011, so seven years since we met today.”
A common friend brought Lloyd as a guest at Shamcey’s birthday party.
“Si Carol joined in Binibining Pilipinas during my time, so si Carol yung nag-invite kay Lloyd nung birthday ko.
“Si Carol ‘tsaka si Scott, magkapatid.”
Scott is Lloyd’s cousin, and it is from his name where famed Scott Burger was taken.
The family of Lloyd’s uncle and cousin used to operate Scott Burger kiosks, which Lloyd and Shamcey have now resurrected via a restaurant.
When asked about her husbnd’s birthday gift, she replied, “Naku hindi uso sa amin ang material things, e.
