OLONGAPO CITY- A 69-year old Japanese national committed suicide inside a car in Barangay Mabayuan here.
The city police identified the victim as Noburo Hirata, resident of No. 53 Otero Avenue, this city.
The victim found lying lifeless by his wife inside a Mitsubishi Adventure (RFW-635) He was bleeding from his head and holding a .45 pistol.
Mrs. Hirata told investigators she left their house to buy food in the market while her husband was playing with his computer inside their rented house.
She turned over to the police one .45 pistol loaded with seven ammunitions and one empty shell.
Police are still conducting investigation and requested autopsy on the victim at the PNP Crime Laboratory.
