BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Believing in her exceptional talent, the Intellectual Property Office on Friday in Bagac, Bataan reminded the parents or manager of singing sensation Jessica Sanchez to copyright her talent.
“Huwag kalimutan na i-copyright registration ang galing ni Jessica dahil baka kopyahin o ma-pirata,” IPO of the Philippines director general Ricardo Blancaflor said smiling.
He said that although he is not from Bataan, he is so proud of the 16-year old AI finalist. “Karangalan siya hindi lamang ng Bataan kundi ng buong bansa,” the lawyer said.
Rep. Albert Garcia of Bataan’s Second District also said that he is so proud of Jessica. He said that since the beginning he has asked his kababayan in the Philippines and abroad to vote for the half-Pinoysinger on line or by text.
“We are 100% behind her and our support will not waver until she becomes the American idol,” the congressman said.
