CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – An upstanding member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Pampanga chapter sits among the chosen international panelists in the 2022 Seminar on Combating Child Sexual Exploitation: State of Play and Perspective held June 14 in Paris, France sponsored by the French Ministry of Interior.
Atty. Jewel Cruz, will participate in the round table discussion on “The Fight Against Transnational Child Sexual Exploitation: Live Distance Child Abuse and Travelling Sex Offenders” along with fellow panelists from the United States, France, and Romania.
“Atty. Jewel not only represents the Philippines to the event but also showcases IBP-Pampanga Chapter’s legal aid efforts against child abuse and exploitation,” a statement from the lawyers’ organization said. Graduating salutatorian from the Angeles University Foundation School of Law, Cruz is currently finishing her Master of Laws in the Netherlands on a scholarship grant while still actively engaging in her advocacy on child protection.
She will also be among lecturers in the upcoming mandatory continuing legal education of IBP-Pampanga in July. IBP-Pampanga /PR
