The Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Nueva Ecija Chapter and its officers reaped several awards at the recent IBP Golden Jubilee Celebration held on the occasion of 19th National Convention of Lawyers at SMX Convention Center in Davao City on Feb. 16-18.
IBP-NE was bestowed the Most Outstanding Overall Legal Aid Lawyer Award and the Best Legal Aid Practice Award (Honorable Mention) for its GROWL Project.
The Most Outstanding Legal Aid Lawyer Award (Category B) and the Governor’s Choice Most Outstanding Legal Aid Lawyer in the Region Award were both given to Atty. Dick F. Fernandez.
Atty. Jason Edward G. Go received a certificate of recognition for Outstanding Performance as Investigating Commissioner of the Commission on Bar Discipline of the IBP.
Atty. Avegaile Bascos Escudero-Garcia was recognized as one of the first 50 delegates to register at the convention.
A plaque of recognition was awarded to IBP-NE president Atty. Olive Jane S. Manuel-Cornejo for “dedicated and invaluable service” that contributed to the advancement and promotion of the organization’s missions and objectives. Punto News Team
