Pampanga welcomes its newest gastronomic gem—HUWON by Kiwa. At Royce Hotel Clark, this exceptional dining destination redefines Korean cuisine with authenticity, refinement, and modern sophistication.
Today marked the opening of HUWON by Kiwa, a restaurant poised to be a top-tier choice for fine Korean dining. The grand ribbon-cutting ceremony is graced by esteemed personalities, including Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, alongside Annyka Chanel Cayabyab, Joshua Victorino, Jayson Victorino, Strategic Partner Dr. David Shim, and CDC Special Assistant to the President and CEO Zoraida Camello.
The momentous event also welcomed members of the media and influencers, eager to experience HUWON’s promise of premium Korean flavors.
HUWON brings together traditional Korean gastronomy with contemporary flair, offering a diverse selection of dishes that showcase fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a commitment to health and balance.
The culinary experience begins with a refreshing Chadolbagi Salad, followed by an exquisite lineup of Korean appetizers, including Modum-jeon, a delightful assortment of savory Korean pancakes; Haemul Kimchi, a fusion of seafood and aged kimchi for a tangy kick; Japchae, silky sweet potato noodles tossed with fresh vegetables and beef; and Salmon Sashimi, fresh, melt-in-your-mouth slices of premium salmon.
For the main course, guests can indulge in a sumptuous Korean barbecue selection, featuring Yangnyeom Galbi, marinated premium beef short ribs grilled to perfection; Dak BBQ, flavorful grilled chicken marinated in a special Korean sauce; and Samgyeopsal, classic pork belly served with a variety of dipping sauces.
Complementing the grilled specialties are hearty Korean stews and soups crafted to warm the soul, such as Galbitang, a comforting short rib soup rich in deep beef flavors; Kimchi-jjigae, a spicy and tangy kimchi stew with pork and tofu; and Chadol Doenjang-jjigae, a fermented soybean paste stew with thinly sliced beef. No Korean feast is complete without the restaurant’s six delectable side dishes, a staple of Korean dining tradition.
Guests can conclude their culinary journey with Pat Bingsu, a well-loved Korean shaved ice dessert topped with sweet red beans and fresh fruits. To enhance the dining experience, hot barley tea and cold plum tea provide a refreshing contrast to the bold flavors of the meal.
Beyond its exquisite menu, HUWON by Kiwa captivates diners with stunning Korean architecture, where refinement meets simplicity. The elegant ambiance, coupled with premium service, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience at Royce Hotel Clark.
As Pampanga remains undisputed culinary heartland of the Philippines, HUWON by Kiwa stands as a testament to the province’s ever-evolving gastronomy—bringing world-class Korean fine dining to the forefront.
