BALANGA CITY – Human resources managers of 24 companies in Bataan on Friday concluded the two-day training for 800 students of Asia-Pacific College here on the basics of the proper way in applying for a job.
Jennifer Tan, college communications department program chairperson, said that aside from theoretical instructions, the students underwent actual job interviews, proper dressing and accomplishment of resume.
“This is to prepare students for their job interview in the real world,” she said.
Student-participants said they learned so much from the training.
Marieth de Castro, 3rd year BSEd major in English, said she now knows what color combination of undershirt to wear during job interviews. “No need for dangling earrings,” she said.
Kevin Acuña, 4th year AB Communications, said he learned of the proper way of accomplishing a resume that will attract employers.
Joanna Marcell Tiglao, 3rd year AB Communications, said she gained confidence from the training.
“Hindi lang ang panlabas na anyo ang dapat i-develop kundi pati ang attitude,” 3rd year AB Communications student Reign Aliel Niespla said.
