TARLAC CITY — The Tarlac Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Tarlac (PHPT-Tarlac) headed by Major Ohmar Bognot together with personnel of the city police joined the simultaneous “One Time, Big Time” operations nationwide.
This is pursuant to PD 1612 or the Anti-Fencing Law, particularly the visitorial powers of law enforcement authorities.
Visited by the team was KFT Auto Dealer owned by Kenneth F. Tiamzon located at MacArthur Highway, Barangay San Sebastian where 10 motor vehicles and eight motorcycles were inspected.
Tiamzon presented all pertinent documents of the vehicles and his shop which upon verification made with actual plate number, engine number, and chassis numbers through the vehicle information management system revealed that all vehicles were not in the wanted or hold-order status list.
One of the motorcycles however was impounded for lack of official receipt and certificate of registration.
Present during the inspection were members of media, PNP and barangay officials.
