HPG-3 recovers 12 vehicles in rent-sangla scam

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Twelve motor vehicles involved in a rent-sangla scam were recovered by the Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Bulacan (PHPT-Bulacan) in two days of continuous anti-carnap follow-up operations ending Thursday.

Regional Highway Patrol Unit-3 chief Col. Bernard Marzal said the operations of PHPT-Bulacan under Major Michael M.Villar came in the wake of the arrest on Monday of five suspects in the rent-sangla scheme perpetrated in the province of Bulacan and the National Capital Region.

The recovered vehicles comprised of: Toyota Wigo (plate no. DAJ2386), Hyundai Accent (NFW6787), Toyota Wigo (CAK9393), Toyota Wigo (NEM1239), Toyota Rush (NDM5253), Mitsubishi Mirage (NAM6992), Toyota Innova (CAR2482), Mitsubishi Expander (NFW8207), Toyota Wigo (conduction sticker S1T120), Mitsubishi Mirage (CAO5554), Honda City (NFW7395) and Toyota Vios (ABI9606).

Marzal congratulated PHPT-Bulacan for the men’s “signal accomplishment.”
