CLARK FREEPORT – Experience Hotel Vida at the heart of Clark and realize what great living is all about.
This was confidently uttered by Daesik Han, president of Widus International which owns Hotel Vida, in a recent interview with Punto. He recently assumed as general manager of the hotel to ensure its smooth operations.
Han disclosed that Hotel Vida has been recently branded as “Deluxe” by the Department of Tourism.
“Deluxe also means five star hotel billing. I just gathered that we are the one in Pampanga given such distinction by the DOT,” said Han.
“That only proves that we put premium in our services and amenities,” the Korean national added.
Asked about the quality of food, Han said: “Taste it for yourself. Others should speak about it.”
Veteran photojournalist Peter Alagos said “I like food but I love everything in the food outlets at Hotel Vida.” He was able to dine several times at the hotel during the stint of his friend, former resident manager Cecille Flores-Sanchez.
“There are some reasons to celebrate because I will be visiting Hotel Vida more often again,” said Alagos. He was delighted as Han had announced that Sanchez will return to her post this month.
Have lunch, dinner or “in between” at the Salt Coffeeshop. Unwind at the Malt Bar. Relax those muscles at the Ilang-Ilang Spa. The hotel has a private gym and swimming pool as well. To cap them all are 130 various luxurious hotel rooms.
As the country celebrates the Lenten Season, Hotel Vida offers packages “catered specially for you.” For as low as P4,290, the couple can have an overnight stay in one of the deluxe rooms with free breakfast for two at Salt. Also included in the package is a 10 percent discount at Ilang-Ilang and two tickets for the “Eggstreme Easter” to celebrate Eastern Sunday. In the same package, Junior suite and 1bedroom are available for P5,060 and P8,030, respectively.
Situated on a 1.9 hectare property, the hotel will have more than 100 rooms for its first tower which consists of deluxe, junior suite, one-bedroom suit and presidential suite.
Han, in a statement, said the hotel garners compliments for its modern tropical theme of brown and terracotta, high-grade by flowing water, tall palm years and lush landscaping.
“I envisioned Hotel Vida to be a world-class theme park soon,” said Han. He disclosed that his firm will announce future expansion projects.
