Holiday Inn Clark Philippines presents ‘The Culinary Journey’ with Executive Chef Ian Chambers

    CLARK FREEPORT – Tired of the same old menu? Or just trying to look for something extraordinarily different?

    Look no further as Holiday Inn Clark Philippines presents “The Culinary Journey” at the Copa’s Bar with Executive Chef Ian Chambers partnering with three top international celebrity chefs – Sam Leong, Theo Randall and Vikas Khanna.

    Leong, Singapore’s favorite culinary son, is a cookbook author and a TV star that had the honor of cooking for world luminaries including royal families, presidents and prime ministers.

    Randall is a celebrity chef based at the Intercontinental Park Lane which was voted as “The Best Italian Restaurant in London.” He wants to make Italian food an everyday experience for everyone.

    And last but not the least is Khanna. People magazine placed Khanna in the list of “Sexiest Men Alive” and also referred to him as “The Hottest Chef of America.”

    But more than his good looks, Khanna is an award-winning Indian chef, a food writer and humanitarian. He is a judge of the TV show Master Chef India (Season 2 and 3) and Masterchef Junior.

    His extensive TV appearances also included the Martha Stewart Show. His New York restaurant, Junoon, was awarded a Michelin star and he was also voted “New York’s Hottest Chef.”

    Khanna leads a number of humanitarian causes including the Foundation for AIDS Research and in recognition he was invited to cook for President Barack Obama.

    At Copa’s, Chef Ian recreates the three-course menu specialties of these famous chefs. He and the hotel’s very own culinary experts perfected the menu and are now being offered as highlight of the restaurant.

    Some of the dishes featured include Leong’s signature wasabi prawns, sweet and sour pork belly with green apple and almond tart; Randall’s buffalo mozzarella with datterini tomato, roasted chicken leg and almond tart and; and Khanna’s tandoori malai chicken, mint chutney and pickled onions, chicken tikka masala with oven roasted vine tomato and masala chai brulée.
