HMR Philippines head for marketing Sharlene Carman said HMR means “have more reason to shop, have more reason to come visit us and see what good deals we have for you.”
Carman said: “There was an opportunity at SM Hypermarket which has ample parking for our customers who are usually from the A and B market and they drive to our stores. And also there’s a really good surplus market customers here since we also have an auction house in (Barangay) Ducquit.”
“We opened the retail store because we noticed that a lot of people were buying general merchandise from us so we decided to set up a retail store here,” she explained. “
Our products range from imported to local but we also sell second hand goods so a lot of our office furniture is second hand,” she added.
HMR Trading Haus occupies 1,800 square meters space inside the SM Hypermarket manned by 30 employees.
HMR Trading Haus here is the 17th store in the Philippines and second in this city with HMR Auction Haus in Barangay Ducquit.
HMR started its operations in Pioneer, Mandaluyong City in 1992 with a retail and wholesale store.
What makes HMR Mabalacat different from the other stores?
HMR Pampanga has a wholesale section for re-sellers to get a range of items at dealer rates. This is to cater to the many provincial stores from Northern Luzon that often visit Pampanga to buy items from the auction centers and other local manufacturers.
To benefit from the wholesale prices, customers have to qualify by submitting a form and requirements to prove they have a retail store business. Once qualified, resellers will enjoy the dealers’ prices.
