CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A high-value suspect and his cohort yielded 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Hacienda Dolores, Porac, Pampanga on July 29.

The sting operation was carried out jointly by the Porac Municipal Police Station’s drug enforcement unit and the Pampanga Police Provincial Office drug enforcement unit which led to the arrest of alias Dacula, a high-value individual, and his companion alias Acmad, both residents of Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac.

Confiscated during the sting were some 500 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P3,400,000; nine marked P500 bills; and 91 P500 boodle money used in the transaction.

The suspects and the seized items are now under the custody of Porac MPS pending the filing of charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

In a statement, Police Regional Office 3 director BGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. lauded the operatives for the successful operation. “This arrest sends a strong message to all those who continue to engage in the illegal drug trade—PRO3 is relentless and will not rest until every community in Central Luzon is safe from the scourge of illegal drugs. I commend the personnel of Porac MPS and Pampanga PPO for their dedication and vigilance. Let this serve as a warning that we are watching, and we will act swiftly.” PRO-3-PR
