Healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez passed away due to heart attack while playing tennis at the Ayala Alabang Clubhouse on Tuesday.
Suarez is a well-known healing priest of local celebrities and politicians. He became controversial as he was banned by several bishops from conducting healing masses due to the allegation of committing sexual abuse.
Suarez was from the Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose Occidental Mindoro. He was acquitted and cleared by the Vatican in January.
