CABANATUAN CITY – Ornamental agriculture, which involves growing plants for decorative purposes and landscape design, is growing fast across the city during the pandemic and can now be found at SM City Cabanatuan and at SM Megacenter with the launch of Green Hub inside the malls.
Assistant mall manager Joanne Bondoc said apart from being the go-to green hub for plant parents looking for the best succulents, indoor plants and gardening essentials, the project also aims to make urban gardening a culture for the locals.
“It is not only about beautifying homes but also it guarantees that plants are good quarantine companion, which give strength, hope, and peace during these trying times” said Bondoc.
Aside from Green Hub, SM also set up a Gadget Hub offering latest gadgets that would help students in their online schooling and work-from-home needs for professionals as part of the new normal.
Mental health is also a priority, so SM also has a Sports Hub offering personal work–out essentials with massage chairs for relaxation after a tiring day.
Plantitos and plantitas now have a chance to add something to their collections of plants, gadgets, and workout essentials while being in a safe and sanitized environment at SM malls.
