A brushstroke of hope and a canvas of compassion come together in “TIMAN”, this year’s Heart for the Art: Exhibit for a Cause, held at Green City Medical Center (GCMC).

In celebration of the hospital’s 6th anniversary, the exhibit channels creativity into an act of deep humanity, aiming to bring joy, support, and healing to children battling cancer.

“This exhibit shall also provide awareness on what children with cancer have been going through, and the management gives treatment and support for their needs,” shared Dr. Virgilio Pantig, GCMC President.

Partnering with Kids Cancervive, Inc., renowned and emerging Filipino artists whose talents are matched only by their desire to give back joined forces.

Proceeds from the exhibit will directly benefit children undergoing treatment, providing not just financial assistance, but also a powerful message of resilience and love.

“An artwork is not just personal but a tool to tell the story of others.,” said Jascha Tolentino, Gallery Director of Gamat Kapampangan.

Through their creations, participating artists aim to make a lasting difference, one painting at a time

Participating artists and galleries include: Juan Miro Art Gallery, Nami Art Gallery, Aldrin Rivera, Jeramel (Ramil) Tumampos, Ahron Jerameel Tumampos, Jhune Lobo, Gilbert Sunga Gungon, Alvin Dungca, Camille Pingul, Chelssie Aven Pan, Arnold Salunga, Herminigildo Pineda, Doji Aguinaldo, and from Gamat Kapampangan: Christophe Alyon Pan, Jascha Tolentino, Arnel Garcia, Billy Corcuera, and Edu Perreras.

Running from May 13 to May 31, 2025, at the Upper Ground Level of Green City Medical Center, the exhibit is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. A special sale is up to 30% off during the first week.

“Timan” is a Kapampangan word for smile, a fitting symbol for what the event aspires to spread—smiles in the lives of children fighting for theirs, and a reminder that through resilience, compassion, and community, we can be the heart behind someone else’s healing.
