Senator Richard Gordon, presidential bet of Bagong Bayan Party fired a shotgun aimed at his rivals. But is obvious that much of the fire is aimed at Noy Noy Aquino apart from the Social Weather Station which he sued in court.
It is also very clear that Senator Gordon is a traditional politicians (trapo and not a tadpole as my barber calls all trapos) having been mayor senator and a cabinet officials all appointive positions political rewards.
The problem with some trapos is they all know of the country’s problems. They also know all the solutions. However, many of these trapos get tripped on their way to their offices (na tisod lang) and they forgot the problems and the solutions. Besides, I hope Senator Gordon agrees with me that saying and doing are two different things as the saying also goes. He said much but I hope he really meant all.
Senator Gordon is not in favor of manual count as a backup solution of the Comelec and incase of failure of the counting machines. At this point in time what would Senator Gordon ask the Comelec to do?
In that very long interview on television with Tin Tin and Julius Babao Saturday morning, Senator Gordon denied that he is arrogant as some people say. He said he is aggressive and not arrogant. Indeed, one maybe aggressive without being arrogant, and it could be the other way around.
Aggressive also and arrogant.

Even with Gordon’s know it all, he needs a miracle to win the country’s presidency. Political miracles in these country are not made in heaven but by the powers that be – the people.

My heart felt condolence to the family of Fred Panopio who passed away a few days back. I know Fred as the young boy who really had a passion for singing. He organized the first group combancheros most of them his friends of his age. He was then in his early teens.
Fred was not recognized as the best singer in the family. His older brother Isagani and Guillermo were then the family’s recognized singers. But the yoodle craze cropped up, Fred was the best in the Panopio family. That really started it all. Fame, yes, but not wealth. He never earned much in his singing career.
May his soul rest in peace.
Do not be surprise if some other religious sects will try to match the much vaunted INC block vote.
Will it be too late for Gibo to come within the circle of the two leading presidential candidates?
