Bursting with flavors of herbs and spices whipped from classic and original recipes, house specialties – Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Salmon and Rib-Eye Steaks gave a perfect punch and unique gastronomic experience to all the guests during the grand opening of the newest hangout in Pampanga, SKEWERS GRILL.
Held last September 24, VIPs, friends, families, local media and spectators all came together to witness the much awaited opening of the Skewers Grill strategically located at the heart of the Korean strip along Friendship Highway, Angeles City. The event kicked off with a motorcade participated by Kabalen and Philmofo Mountain Bikers, followed by the formal ribbon cutting lead by Vice Mayor Anthony S. Twaño of Guagua and Christine David–Pineda owner of Arayat Durablocks and solemn blessing facilitated by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Mercado. An outdoor set up, guests were entertained by special performance of Jimmy Bondoc back to back with emerging artist Angela Torres, Circle of Faith band and on the spot jamming with Jimmy Santos of Eat Bulaga. It was definitely an evening of one to “sawa” of fun, food, overflowing drinks and music.
Credit goes to owner, Kaye Beltran, young restaurateur, graduate of C.C.A., certified biker and food lover, pulled all her resources to put up Skewers. The interior and décor (not to mention even the restaurant name) were inspired by her passion for biking, truly a “sporty chef”. She simply wants the diners and drinkers to enjoy good food, cozy ambiance with al fresco dining and experience good service at a very minimal price possible. She believes that “ good food and good service need not be expensive.“
Skewers does not compromise quality of food and uses only the finest and freshest ingredients. The menu offers diverse mouthwatering dishes from simple treats like Isaw, Chicken Feet, Pork BBQ to lavish foods like Kaye’s Signature Salad (chicken strips, julienne peppers, crispy tortillas), Beef Kebab, Crab & Chorizo Rice, Molten Lava Cake and many more. With its flexi set up, Skewers is a perfect place to get together, meet new friends, mingle and relax, it is also said to be the “bikers’ haven” and after office meeting place.
To cleanse the palate after a tasty meal, variety of liquor, wine or cocktails are available prepared by professionally trained bartenders. Plus, local and imported beers are “served ZERO” meaning you can enjoy your favorite beer chilled to perfection.
And because Skewers Grill looks after customers’ safety and convenience, ample parking space is readily available and the area is well secured thru roving guards and CCTV cameras. Skewers Grill opens daily from 5pm onwards, Friday acoustic night and Saturday 80’s.
