LIMAY, Bataan – The Bureau of Customs-Port of Limay here named GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD), a coal-fired power plant in Mariveles town, as one of its Top 5 Importers of 2023.
GNPD COO Emmanuel Lopez received the award from BOC-Limay district collector Atty. Kriden Balgomera during the 16th anniversary of the BOC facility in Barangay Lamao here.
Other awardees were Petron Corp., Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Jetti Petroleum, Inc., and Filoil Logistics Corp.
GNPD imports some 160,000 metric tons of coal a week or around 640,000 metric tons a month, making coal importation as one of its top priorities.
It has two units with gross capacity of 725 megawatts each or total gross capacity of 1,450 MW. Its net capacity is 668 MW per unit or with total net capacity of 1,336 MW.
