LIMAY, Bataan- A 12-year-old girl who was missing for three days was found dead with her hands tied with vines and lying flat on her stomach on a plastic mat on a boho farm in St. Francis I, an upland village in Limay, Bataan, where she was believed raped and killed.
Allan Daulat, 38, farm worker/tricycle driver, said they left their youngest daughter Arlene, 12, alone in their house Friday morning. The father said they exerted all efforts to locate the girl but it was only on Sunday that they found her but already dead.
He said that his dead daughter was found more than 300 meters away from their house along boho grooves.
“Sa tulong ng mga bangaw na parang itinuro ang lugal, natagpuan sa buhuan malapit sa ilog ang aking pamangkin na nakadapa sa banig,” said victim’s uncle Sonny Daulat in whose house the body of the girl lies in state.
Evangeline Daulat said she could not believe that such brutal act will happen to her youngest daughter who dreamt of being a teacher someday.
When asked if she believed that Wilfredo Remetio, 51, was the culprit, she answered “malakas ang kutob ko.”
Remetio, caretaker of the boho farm, was invited for questioning by the Limay police.
Chief Insp. Crizalde Conde, Limay police chief, said that investigations are still ongoing.
