To demonstrate that you can enjoy summer, Veet, the world leader in hair products, held the Get Ready for a Smooth Summer event at the Manila Padel Club in Taguig City on April 22, 2023.
The event, which was attended by some of the country’s most exciting beauty enthusiasts and athletes, was designed to empower women via three activity stations—just like Veet’s three easy steps towards unwanted hair! The activities allowed the participants to show off their natural beauty, confidence and freedom — all while being uninhibited and unrestricted! Summer-ready gals and guys should know how to look stunning while breaking a sweat, right?
Be VEETIFUL, Confident and Free
For the Get Ready for a Smooth Summer event, guests were grouped into squads with whom they completed the day’s festivities. It became an instant opportunity to create #VEETiful bonds and friendships!
At the first station, Be #Veetiful Station, participants took turns striking confidently beautiful poses with Veet cutouts. Nothing like a good photo to boost that smooth shine inside and out!
At the second station, Be Confident station, the groups attended a fitness session and performed a series of dynamic workouts at the outdoor gym with Manila Padel Club CEO and founder Alana Dawn.
And finally, at the Be Free station, the groups competed in a series of doubles games of Padel—with each #Veetiful squad showing off their newly-minted forehand and backhand.
Celebrating with Special Awards
Completing those fun and freeing activities is a reward in itself! But to up the ante and further celebrate confidence, energy, and beauty, Veet awarded participants who fully embodied the essence of the event with three special awards: The Most #Veetiful Squad, for the group that really rocked their summer workout outfits to create a cute and engaging social media post or story; Veet Strides Squad Awardee, for the group that exhibited confidence from the tip of the toes while completing the workouts; and Veet Raise the Vibe Awardee, for the group with the most padel rally during the Freedom Station games.
