OLONGAPO CITY — The implementation here of the Simultaneous Anti Criminality and Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) by the city police resulted to the arrest of 111 law violators, seizure of P1.5-million worth of shabu, and confiscation of 18 assorted firearms within the period Sept. 17 to Oct. 6.
City police director, Col. Randy Y. Arceo said that the continuous proactive crime prevention and relentless conduct of anti-criminality operation have been carried out by all operating units of OCPO including the six police stations to ensure that the peace and order situation in the city is “kept above standard.”
SACLEO is implemented in all provincial and city police offices in Central Luzon.
Of the 111 arrests, 47 were for violation of RA 9165, 26 had standing warrants of arrest for different violations, five during the serving of search warrants, and 33 for violation of special laws and ordinances.
Seized were 246 sachets of shabu with combined weight of 220.12 grams valued at P1,496,816.00, 12 sachets of marijuana with combined weight of 10.16 grams valued at P1,219.00.
Arceo commended the personnel of OCPO who conducted the operation for a job well done and stressed that the OCPO will continue its unwavering efforts to put all wanted persons behind bars.
