ABUCAY, Bataan — One of two still unidentified men on board a motorcycle shot and killed a game fowl farm owner inside his farm house in an upland village here Thursday morning.
Nelia Alisbo, 56, identified the victim as her husband, Danilo Alisbo, 56, who was managing the family farm with fighting cocks in sitio Hacienda in Barangay Gabon.
She narrated that she was washing dishes in a kitchen sink while her husband was seated on a chair taking out his boots when two men in a motorcycle arrived and parked their vehicle near their house.
The wife said one suspect in blue clothes alighted from the motorcycle while the other one in white shirt stayed on the vehicle. Both, she said, wore handkerchiefs in the form of face masks to cover their faces.
She said the one who alighted the motorcycle approached her husband and asked something and fired around five to six shots. “Pagtayo ng asawa ko para kausapin ang dumating, binaril na siya na tumama sa kanyang dibdib, kamay at ulo.”
She said that she does not know of any enemy of her husband and that the victim had not told her of any threat on his life.
Major Winston Norte, Abucay police chief, said investigation was still going on and police were on the hunt for the perpetrators.
In a report to Bataan police director Col. Romell Velasco, Norte said that suspects pretended to be customers buying game fowl.
