THERE’S SO much to enjoy in the new G Café in Clark, from “insta-worthy” vintage industrial garden fusion interiors to sumptuous food. You get to experience the fresh taste, and take it in on whole different level.
With the invitation of my good friend, CEO of Giada Luan Corp. and owner of G Cafe, Luchie Lozano, I had a chance to witness the sweet and intimate grand opening of G Cafe last April 18, 2018.
“After a tremendous work and sleepless nights of preparation, we are finally launching G Café. We pour a lot of love, time and effort in this cafe because we want to create a G Café that is perfect for everyone. Serve good food from breakfast to after dinner. Set up a great ambiance for customers to unwind, relax and mingle,” Lozana shares.
From appetizers to-entrees to desserts, this cafe got you covered. Filipino food is also available in the menu. But I have to say that my “most” favorite meal is the blackened salmon. This has a spicy kick to it and is cooked to perfection (not too dry nor too raw). It is served with white sauce but just the salmon alone is enough for me.
Aside from my favorite blackened salmon, this gem in Clark also offers G-Breakfast with daily morning grind meals such as chicken waffle, American breakfast, omelet and the usual “silog” favorites.
For the main course, “good food like no other” include demi glaze meatloaf with pepper, steamed cream dory topped with ginger and leeks, oven baked baby back ribs good for 2 to 3 persons, Spanish whole chicken that can feed 6-8 persons and a lot more delicious entrees.
For the sweet tooth like me, my top pick was the autumn apple fritter – made with fresh apple dust, powdered sugar and caramel syrup. The G Cafe Triple is also a must try, its a mouth watering triple layered dessert with carrot cake, white chocolate mousse caramelized blueberry topped with whipped cream vanilla ice cream and special syrup.
Compared to other cafes or restaurants, the prices are relatively competitive and affordable.
G Cafe truly lives up to its tag line-promise. Whether it is a special brunch with family, business meeting or a quick catch-up with friends – the good time it brings gives a lasting impression. Good food, great moments, always!
