ANGELES CITY – “Poverty must never be an excuse for not giving our children a chance for a brighter future.”
An express policy of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. embodied in his 8-Point Agenda finding one more realization with the provision of free uniforms, shoes and school supplies to public school students in the city.
Aside from this, the Lazatin administration has forged a partnership with Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, the mayor’s brother, to build more classrooms and facilities to make learning more conducive.
Lazatin has also tapped the help of telecommunications providers to install dedicated internet lines in all public schools.
At the Aug. 30 inspection of the uniforms, shoes, and school supplies the city procured, the mayor was joined by his chief adviser IC Calaguas and executive assistant Reina Manuel.
