CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Former Philippine president and now Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo attended the flag-raising rites at the capitol here on Monday.

Arroyo was mobbed and cheered by capitol workers on her way to the executive house accompanied by Gov. Lilia “Baby” Pineda and Vice Gov. Joseller “Yeng” Guaio.

Arroyo refused to speak further in an interview with Punto and said:

“I just want to say I am really happy and maybe in two months time I can grant an (ambush) interviews.”

Pineda showed Arroyo the governor’s office which is undergoing renovation. The first-term governor holds office at the executive house.

Pineda said Arroyo “had lessened her work load and is now more focused in Pampanga.”

“And that is good for the hardworking official and her provincemates,” added Pineda in the dialect.

Pineda and Arroyo met with Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) provincial officials at the governor’s office to discuss the on-going flood-mitigation project in Pampanga.
