ANGELES CITY — Highlighting the inspiring advocacy of generosity, kindness, and compassion amid the ongoing crisis, BeautéDerm president and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan is raising funds through an online auction of her high fashion luxury brands from her personal collections.
Through her skin care and beauty company BeautéDerm with its corporate social responsibility foundation Contribeaut, Tan furthered her call for donation through “Luxury for a Cause” to continuously support the relief operations for the frontliners in the relentless fight to flatten the curve against Covid-19.
Tan decided to auction off her personal collections of highend designer brands of bags, shoes, sunglasses, and apparels such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada, including set of jewelries she has owned for 10 years.
According to Tan, all proceeds from “Luxury for a Cause” will fund more PPEs, face masks, face shields, and relief goods which will go directly to her chosen charity beneficiaries and homeless communities including Kasuso Foundation, Duyan ni Maria, Apag ning Pagasa, and Pamisaupan Kapampangan. Among other organizations included are Balibago Rotary Club, selected churches in Angeles and Tarlac, Camp Olivas and other police stations, as well as the urban poor communities in barangays Anunas, Sto. Domingo, Sta. Teresita, and the homeless and street dwellers along the way.
Tan also donated food packs and cash donations to the inmates at the BJMP district jail through the initiative of Dr. Rowie Medina.
Prior to her relief distributions, Tan has also been supplying jars and bottles of rubbing alcohol to the local government and the rural health unit offices as well as various hospitals in this city and nearby medical centers.
Tan’s assistance and support also reverberates in Ilocos through an ongoing relief operations and cash donations as it is where her family currently resides.
According to Tan, the BeautéDerm sales teams in the country and abroad are also taking part through their own initiatives and efforts under her influence.
Meanwhile, Tan will continue to auction some of her personal collections in her personal Facebook page as well as other relief operations and donations to continually support the frontliners amid the extended enhanced community quarantine.
