CLARK FREEPORT —The country’s oldest photography society has launched an on-the-spot (OTS) photo contest here scheduled from July 5 to July 7, following a successful partnership with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) earlier this year.

The Camera Club of the Philippines (CCP) initiated the contest to highlight Clark’s vibrant industries and modern infrastructure, which aligns with CCP’s mission to document the Philippines’ advancements in preparation for its centennial celebration in 2028. Manuel Huberto Gaite, the past president of CCP emphasized this in his letter to CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera.

“Clark hosts some of the more advanced workplaces, hi-tech industries in the country, not to mention the newest hotels and an amazing airport,” said Gaite.

“The club promotes the Philippines’ beauty and people. We can provide you [CDC] with digital copies of the contest entries, which you can use for Clark promotion,” Gaite added.

Atty. Devanadera expressed gratitude to the club for the training and workshop provided to CDC employees at the recently concluded CCP 2024 Golf Tournament at Mimosa Plus Golf on Friday.

Moreover, she underscored Clark’s advantages, such as business opportunities, efficient traffic management, airport facilities, and road connectivity. The CDC chief also emphasized the CDC’s commitment to promoting arts, culture, and heritage while improving the community’s “happiness index.”

Founded in 1928, the Camera Club of the Philippines (CCP) is the country’s oldest photography society. It is a non-profit organization with a diverse membership, including students, professionals, executives, businessmen, doctors, lawyers, professional photographers, and retirees, dedicated to documenting the Philippines’ cultural and technological advancements through photography.
