BALANGA City, Bataan: Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Bataan chose to attend the afternoon Holy Mass at the Saint Joseph Cathedral here to start their observance of Fire Prevention Month Friday, March 1.
After the Mass, two firetrucks with sirens on made the rounds of Balanga City. BFP personnel in the rest of the 11 towns conducted separate motorcades, some participated by various sectors.
The fire officers later proceeded to SM City Bataan for a short program.
The Fire Prevention Month national celebration has for the theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.”
The BFP in Samal town has a mascot on the firetruck while the siren kept on blaring as it made the round of the barangays.
