CLARK – FilVax, the COVID-19 Vaccination Program of Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC), started the Clark leg of its vaccination drive. For two days, August 13 and 14, FilVax aims to inoculate almost 300 employees, partners, workers and caddies with their Covid 19 vaccines for free.

FilVax is the Filinvest Group’s effort to support the government’s vaccination program. It is committed to assist in the drive to accelerate the vaccination roll-out in the country. In partnership with the government, Filinvest Group has procured 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine, allocated for the FilVax program and for donation to local government units where Filinvest operates. Part of this donation was given to over 200 caddies working as freelancers at Mimosa Plus Golf Course and to more than 80 third party hires of Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark. Protecting employees and partners in their workplaces is a top priority for Filinvest.
Organized in partnership with the Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD), the two-day event was held in one of the terminals of Clark International Airport. The big and open spaces at the said terminal are a safe and appropriate venue for the mass vaccination roll-out.
FilVax continues its commitment to work hand in hand with the local government and partners towards a COVID-free Philippines. As shared by Filinvest’s Chairman of the Board Jonathan Gotianun and President and CEO Josephine Gotianun- Yap on the Filinvest website, “Vaccination gives us an added layer of protection against the virus. By getting vaccinated, we not only protect ourselves, but also our homes, and our workplaces. Most important of all, we do our part to fight back and weaken the virus’s ability to spread and do further harm.”
