PORAC, Pampanga – The Angeles City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. will donate another school building worth at least P400, 000 at the Babo Pangulo Elementary here.
Mayor Condralito De La Cruz disclosed that it will be the 7th school building donated by the Filipino-Chinese chamber based in the nearby city.
De La Cruz and Vice Mayor Dexter David inspected the site of the two-classroom building in Babo Pangulo. They were accompanied by school principal Gilda Fernandez and representatives of the chamber.
“We welcome this donation. We are expecting an increase in the number of students yearly. We will have more than 400 students this coming school year and the new building will provide the much needed rooms,” Fernandez said.
Earlier, the same group donated school buildings in barangays Manibaug, Sta. Cruz, Pio, Calzara, Paralaya and Planas.
De La Cruz said he had been informed by the chamber that the construction in Babo Pangulo will start “late May or early June.”
Dela Cruz and David thanked the chamber “for their consistent assistance in our advocacy to give quality education.”
The two officials are the proponents of the soon-to-rise Don Honorio Ventura Technical State University extension.
