ORANI, Bataan: The filing of Certificates of Candidacy  of the group of a businessman eyeing the mayoral post here  was characterized in a fiesta-like atmosphere on the last day Tuesday, October 8.

The candidates and their supporters  led by Arizapa first attended a Holy Mass concelebrated  by Rizal  Bishop Ruperto Santos, former Bataan  prelate; rector Rev. Fr. Antonio Quintos and other priests at the Minor Basilica and Shrine Parish of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Orani.

After the Mass, the big crowd inside and outside the church heavily cheered  for their candidates while a group of street dancers in colorful costume danced to the beat of the roaring musical drums.

The applauding  supporters and the streets dancers with the thundering  drums accompanied Arizapa,  Roman and  the complete 8-man Sangguniang Bayan slate to the municipal office of the Commission on Elections some meters away.

The streets on the way to the poll office were filled with cheering people. (30)
