BOTOLAN, Zambales – A farmer listed as one of the most wanted here was arrested Sunday evening by police authorities for allegedly raping Anne (not real name) sometime in December 2008. A warrant of Arrest was issued by the court last February 17.
Chief Inspector Regelio Peñones Jr., provincial officer of the Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (ZCIDT), identified the suspect as Esperedion Ignacio, 33 and resident of Barangay Moras of this town.
Report showed that about 7 p.m., led by SPO2 Victor Degollado of ZCIDT and operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) of Zambales nabbed the suspect in his residence by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Consuelo Amog-Bocar of RTC, Branch 71 of Iba, Zambales for three counts rape.
