ANGELES CITY – A total of 596 public and private vehicles were impounded while 1,893 driver’s licenses were confiscated for violations of the enhanced community quarantine protocols on traffic.
In a report submitted by the Angeles City Traffic Development Office to Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., most of the violations recorded were overloading, no wearing of helmet, and lack of driver’s license.
“Pakiusap po, huwag na pong matigas ang ulo. Sumunod po tayo sa mga regulasyon ng pamahalaan,” Lazatin appealed.
The impounded vehicles and confiscated licenses will be released once the ECQ is lifted, said Lazatin: “Makukuha lang po ninyo ang mga sasakyan at lisensya niyo kapag na-lift na ang ECQ.”
