CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The entry and exit gates of the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway that were temporarily closed due to the enhanced community quarantine are now open.

This was announced by NLEX Corp. president Luigi Bautista in a statement on Thursday.

Motorists can pass again through the interchange in Meycauayan main, Marilao, Bocaue, Tabang, Sta. Rita, Pulilan, San Simon, San Fernando, Mexico, Angeles, Dau and Sta. Ines.

There are no more checkpoints in the said entry and exit points other than Dau and Angeles interchanges, because these are included in the interchanges that are used in going in and out of the Clark International Airport

As this developed, checkpoints of the Joint Task Force Coronavirus Shield (JTF CV Shield) along entry andexit points of NLEx all the way to Metro Manila like the Mindanao Avenue interchange, NLEx-Harbor Link ramps and Balintawak toll plaza have been further secured.

Only the minor entry and exit points of NLEx will remain closed like the newly opened Tambubong exit-entry at the northbound and entry southbound. Also, the Pandayan southbound exit and Libtong northbound exit in Meycauayan; Lingunan southbound exit and the Lawang Bato northbound exit in Valenzuela.

The Ciudad de Victoria interchange is still closed to traffic but will be temporarily and only exclusively open to vehicles that are part of government operation and those that will bring patients to the “We Heal As One Center” at the Philippine Arena complex.

At the SCTEx, all the entry and exit points are now 100 percent open even if the checkpoints of the JTF CV Shield are still in place at the Clark South and Clark North interchanges that serve as gateway to CRK.

There are no more checkpoints at the interchanges in Hacienda Luisita/San Miguel, Tarlac City, Porac, Floridablanca, and Tipo.

Although they are now open, the checkpoints at the interchange of Dolores and Concepcion are still in place.

NLEX Corp. said that this will be the system that will be in place once the general community quarantine in Central Luzon is implemented.
